Build Klaviyo flows on Reveshare affiliate events

Once you connect Reveshare to Klaviyo, Reveshare sends four events to each affiliate's Klaviyo profile. Each one appears in Klaviyo as a metric you can trigger flows on, filter segments by and use in your templates.

To use a property in an email, insert it with {{ event.PropertyName }}, for example {{ event.DiscountCode }}.

Joined Affiliate Program

Sent when an affiliate joins one of your programs: automatically, by accepting an invite, or when you approve their application.

Flow idea: affiliate welcome. Trigger on Joined Affiliate Program. Email 1 welcomes them and shares their code ({{ event.DiscountCode }}) and commission. Email 2, three days later, shares your content guidelines and best-selling products.

Earned Affiliate Commission

Sent each time an order is credited to an affiliate. The event value is the commission amount, so Klaviyo can report on it.

Flow idea: first-sale celebration. Trigger on Earned Affiliate Commission and add the flow filter Earned Affiliate Commission equals 1 over all time, so only an affiliate's first sale enters. Congratulate them and suggest what to post next.

Received Affiliate Payout

Sent when you mark an affiliate's payout as paid in Reveshare. The event value is the payout amount.

Flow idea: payout thank-you. Trigger on Received Affiliate Payout. Confirm the amount and method, thank them, and tease next month's launch.

Reached Affiliate Tier

Sent when an affiliate's sales move them up to a higher commission tier.

Flow idea: tier upgrade. Trigger on Reached Affiliate Tier. Congratulate them on reaching {{ event.TierName }} and tell them their new rate of {{ event.CommissionValue }}.

Segments

Every affiliate Reveshare syncs has the profile property tags containing reveshare affiliate. Build a segment on it to email all your affiliates at once, or combine it with the events above, for example affiliates who haven't earned a commission in 60 days.

Good to know

• Events are sent only while Klaviyo is connected with your Klaviyo login (Manage → Integrations).
• Each event is recorded once, even if Reveshare has to retry sending it.
• Events appear in Klaviyo within a few minutes of happening in Reveshare.
